Dr. Hill is a Research Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC.org). Her areas of expertise center around immigration, multiracial populations, fertility trends among immigrants and California’s youth. Prior to joining PPIC, she was a Researcher at the SPHERE Institute (1999–2001), a postdoctoral fellow at National Institute of Aging (1998) and a Research Analyst at SRI International (1992–1995). She earned a Ph.D. (1998) in Demography, and an M.A. (1996) in Economics, both from University of California, Berkeley.
