Hi Jim:
I’m looking forward to hearing you speak tomorrow! As a resident and local businessperson of District 6, I have a very vested interest in it’s future!
One of our members proposed a few questions that we’re posing to the various candidates that are coming to speak with us. Please feel free to focus on the questions you feel are most relevant to your campaign, but we’d very much appreciate it if you’d had a chance to think about the following:
1) Do you support District elections and, if necessary, will you fight to retain a 100% district elected Board of Supervisors?
2) Do you support eliminating “mandatory” expenditures/set asides from the San Francisco budget?
3) Did you support the construction of One Rincon Hill?
4) Do you support Supervisor Elsbernd’s initiative to restructure Muni compensation?
5) Do you support Public Defender Jeff Adachi’s initiative to have City employees contribute to their pensions?
Please let me know if you have any questions ahead of the event. I can be reached at (415) 819 3060. Otherwise I look forward to meeting you tomorrow at 7:45 at the PRI’s office!
Best, Mike

Hi Jim:
Thank you! I’m sure that you’ll do just fine! Our calendar is currently booked through June, but July is currently wide open. Can you give me a Wednesday 7:45-9am in July that works?

Dear Mr. Meko:
My name is Michael Bradley and I’m the current president of the Economic Round Table of San Francisco (ERT). The ERT is composed of businesspeople, academics and intellectuals in San Francisco who’ve been meeting every Wednesday (8-9am) since 1940 to hear speakers and discuss current affairs. About 15-30 people attend our meetings and our website is located at www.ertsf.org.
Many of our members live and work in District 6 and I thought that our membership might be interested in hearing you speak about your candidacy.
Please let me know if you could come and speak with us in the coming months!
Best, Mike
